Colorado Families From Group 1588 Reunite For GOTCHA Day!

On Saturday three of the eight families that were in China together gathered to celebrate our GOTCHA DAY. A year ago that day we were all arriving in Hong Kong to Start our journey to meet our daughters. Our GOCHA DAY is actually June 28th.

Thea is almost three, Mackenzie and Alexandria is 28 months.

Alexandria loved Zack.

Bo and Claire brought the kids all a gift to celebrate the day. Zack received a really cool car and Mackenzie was given "My first purse". She loves it.

Emma Renn is Thea's big sister. Ema Ren went to China with us to meet her sister. She is such a great girl. Bo and Claire went to China to adopt Ema Ren 6 years ago.

For some crazy reason Mackenzie and Kiera that their goldfish would taste better if they sat in the laundary room to eat them.

I guess she thought she would be dreaming in 3D. She put Zack's 3D glasses on before she fell asleep.

CCAI Reunion Day.

This is the building we saw Mackenzie picture for the first time. This is CCAI's main office.

Lily and Josh are the owners of CCAI and the ones who started this organization. Lily is the person who wrote the book that is being pasted around the family "Bound By Love" It was so great they goined us in our picture. This is a picture of the 4 moms and their girls that went to China together. Group 1588.

Mackenzie and really not sure what was the problem. Kiera and Alexanderia are from the same orphanage. Mackenzie was from a different one.

Zachary had a great time playing all of the games they had set up for the kids. He played this game probably 15 times. He would blow up the ballon until it popped. His arms hurt that night. It was a great day.

Today is CCAI's reunion and Mackenzie dressed herself and came out of my room saying "ready go"!

Our Trip to the Zoo.

We were so excited to be able to take our friend Kiera to the Zoo. She and her mom are her visiting from Florida. They flew in to go to CCAI's reunion. The girls are having so much fun together. Zachary is being a great big brother and loves playing with Kiera.
