Pack 29

This was Zack's Cub Scout Pack meeting. The Pack meets once a month. His den meets every Wednesday. He is really enjoying it. This Pack meeting the boys were being recognized for completeing their Tiger Cub badge.

Each Cub Scout was given a Raingutter Regatta Kit which included a piece of wood in the shape of a boat, one stick to hold the sail, a plastic sail, a rutter and a keel. Each boy was to create their own boat to race. Zachary and David sanded the baot just slightly but not to much, painted the boat and place a 2 and 9 sticker on the sail for Pack 29. Keeping the sail very simple. Some of the other boys placed several stickers on their sail and sanded their boats, so that the sail was bigger than their boat. It turns out that Zack's boat was the right way to go since he won the grand prize. A marshmallow bow and arrow. Zachary was so excited he won.

Aunt Shelly playing a fair game of Soccer with her nephew.

I am not sure what she is looking for but whatever it is she being very careful not to disturb it. This is probably the most gentle I have ever seen her be.

These two pictures are theshow the exact reason Zachary cried the night we came home from spending the weekend with his cousin in Topeka. He just loves spending time with them. We had a great time. It melts my heart when I see these pictures. Family is the greatest thing in the world.
