Final Adoption Day

The Judge was great. At the very beginning of the hearing she could see that Mackenzie was wanting to get down. She told me that it was just fine if Mackenzie gets down and runs around. Our little girl who is normally very shy when in a place that is not familiar to her was running all around the court room.

Today the state of Colorado officially reconized our Chinese adoption of Makenzie. We have been a family since "Match Day" May 11, 2010 the day we saw Long Mei Ke's picture at Chinese Children Adoption Agency. Today the paper work for the US adoption was finalized. Today Makenzie Marie received the necessay paperwork to get a Colorado birth certificate that shows David and I as her parents.

Snow Day!!!

Mackenzie actually kind of liked the snow this time. She really liked going down the hill with Zachary. She still really does not like the fact that snow is cold.

Life at Maw Maw and Paw Paw's House

As you can see there are no boundries at Maw Maw and Paw Paw's house. Mackenzie figured out very quickly if she just smiles that melts their hearts and she pretty much gets away with whatever she wants. Maw Maw just takes her picture and says she is to cute.

Oh no Great Rob. I can't even watch any more.

I think I will look it up on my computer and make sure you are doing it right.

Zachary had a great Christmas. It did not take Mackenzie long to figure out unwrapping her gifts.

For the people who do not know this the outfit that Mackenzie has on was worn by both of her aunts and by me. The funny part is we were a little chubbier than she is. Everytime she would walk her little pants would fall down.

I just love seeing Mackenzie walking around with my purses.
